The FMS has a limited database pre-loaded. Airports are limited to a few on the west coast and Hawai'i areas.
To keep the tutorial quick, I've limited the database to the airports in the tutorial (PHNL and KLAX).
When connected to the internet, the entire US airport database is available. You can plan a flight from Seattle to JFK. International airports are not available.
